Sadie Amara Calvano has become famous for the role of Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS comedy Mom. Calvano is a Californian who initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. Then, she made the decision to pursue a career in acting. Her first appearance on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the CBS show 'NCIS. In the biographical crime-drama film J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen a few months later. In the past, she's established herself as one the most promising actors in the business. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series with an guest Actress between 11-15 years old. In 2013, Calvano was nominated once again for the Young Artist Award. This was for her performance in Disney XD's "Kickin The 'It'. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons, as well as making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. The year 2015 was the year she received the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
