Alison Pill

Pill performed in the productions of her native Canada but it would take her several years to get her first appearance before she made her debut in market in the American market. One such appearance included an episode from the Canadian show Traders, which starred Bruce Gray. Pill managed to get an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would, Could, Shoulda" written by Naren Shankar. The episode also starred Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill was a character on Picard for the previous year, then appeared as a supporting part of the character on Devs, a science fiction miniseries created for FX Productions and Hulu. Pill played the same character, Katie, in each episode, much like she had her character from Picard. There were many similarities with Picard did not end there since the central theme Devs was disclosed to involve the survival of consciousness created by an artificial entity, as similar to the ones Data had been preserved during the revelation during the Picard Season 1 conclusion "Et the In Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
